Masimo Freedom™ Health Band

The Masimo Freedom Health Band utilizes the same patented sensor technology as in the Masimo Freedom Health Watch. It provides the same continuous, precision accuracy based on Masimo SET® technology to provide reliable tracking of key health data, such as arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), hydration index (Hi™), pulse rate, and heart rate. Offering in an ultra-comfortable uncompromising design, the Masimo Freedom Health Band is a perfect choice to track your health day and night, or to complement to the Masimo Freedom Health Watch.

Quick Start Guide

Step 1 — Charge the Sensor and Insert Sensor into Band

To ensure proper operation, fully charge your Freedom Band sensor before use.

Attach the magnetic charger to back of sensor to begin charging. The Band vibrates when being placed on the charger. Note the orientation of the charger.

A white LED on front of sensor will blink during charging. It will stop blinking and become solid white once fully charged.

Insert Sensor into Band

The Freedom Band comes with a silicone and a fabric band, insert the sensor into either band by pushing straight down and it will snap into place. Make sure the backside of the sensor is facing up when inserting into the band.

Step 2 — Download the App

  • If you are using an iOS phone, look for an email from TestFlight ([email protected]), including in your Spam mailbox. Launch the email and follow the instructions provided.
  • If you are using an Android phone, search for Masimo Health in the Google Play Store. You will see an "early access" button. Download from there and follow instructions. IMPORTANT: If you already have Masimo Health downloaded on your phone from a past test or product, please uninstall before installing this version.

Step 3 — Put on Your Band

IF USING SILICONE BAND: Place the sensor on the flat part of your wrist, avoiding the wrist bone. Tighten the strap so the sensor does not slide on the wrist. Then tighten one or two more notches.

IF USING FABRIC BAND: Place the sensor on the flat part of your wrist, avoiding the wrist bone. Feed the fabric strap through the loop on the other end, then pull back and tighten right before the skin on your wrist starts to wrinkle.

To obtain good health data, the band needs to be worn snug (but not uncomfortably tight).

TIP: Ensure the bottom of the watch fully touches your wrist and cannot slide back and forth.

Step 4 — Pair Sensor to App

To pair your watch to the app, choose “Add Device” in the Masimo Health App, then select Freedom Band from the list of devices and follow the instructions.

Please do not pair by using your phone Bluetooth to find the watch; Please do not pair by using the watch Bluetooth to find your phone. Please open the Masimo Health App directly, and pair in the app.

The changes in your pulse rate that can show how consistently your blood is being pushed through your body, even with exercise or under stress.
  • Perfusion Index (Pi)
A calculation of the relative strength of your pulse, which changes based on your circulation.
